Andaman Islands: plan a photo visit

White sand, island trees and boats are the focus of this archive. Give an island stay room to breathe: ferry transfers and beach time deserve separate parts of the itinerary.

Suggested time: four or more days. Open destination map

Key sights and photo ideas
A suggested itinerary
  1. Day 1: arrive in Sri Vijaya Puram and visit the memorial if the timing works.
  2. Day 2: transfer to your chosen island on a confirmed sailing; keep the afternoon light.
  3. Day 3: explore permitted beach areas. Day 4: return with a buffer before onward travel.
Travel and photography tips
  • Verify ferry schedules and operating conditions directly before booking connections.
  • Do not promise a specific beach identification from an unlabelled archive photograph.
  • Leave shells and wildlife where they are; use shade and tide lines as foregrounds.
